HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

Membership is by selection by the Committee in April each year, for more information see About Membership

HOW MUCH IS MEMBERSHIP?

The annual membership fee is £20

HOW MANY EXHIBITIONS ARE ORGANISED EACH YEAR?

At least two exhibitions are staged each year and when appropriate a third one is organised

HOW MANY PAINTINGS CAN I EXHIBIT?

3 paintings per artist is the normal but work over 760 mm (30″) counts as 2

CAN I EXHIBIT UNFARMED WORK?

4 unframed works can be exhibited but must be mounted and enclosed in a clear protective wrap

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR EXHIBITING?

The Society takes a commission fee of 20% on work sold at exhibitions
A fee of £1 per framed work and 50p per unframed work is charged as a hanging fee

CAN I EXHIBIT WORK NOT FOR SALE?

All work must be for sale and must be original to the artist

AS WELL AS EXHIBITING WHAT OTHER BENEFITS ARE THERE TO MEMBERSHIP?

Occasional painting days, socials and outings to exhibitions are organised for members
Members are invited to showcase their work on the Society website with the option to add a personal website link.
Members and their guests are invited to the Preview party for the summer exhibition
Members receive a Newsletter twice a year giving information about the Society
