SUMMER EXHIBITION 2025

 

After a last minute change of venue, the Summer Exhibition 2025 moved to Lavenham Church and has now finished. With a quick push on new publicity , it was all systems go for our second visit to Lavenham Church this year , who kindly stepped in to help us.

There were plenty of visitors and also plenty of rain! The church is struggling with a leaking roof so several buckets were on standby!

The Society once again is supporting St Nicholas Hospice with 20% of all net profit being given to this local charity.

Summer Exhibition 2025 Favourite Painting

Summer Exhibition winner, Ray Blissitt , with Mountain Glory

 

Once again hundreds of votes were received for this popular part of the exhibition. Our winner this time was Ray Blissitt with his stunning artwork, titled ‘Mountain Glory’. Ray’s attention to detail is outstanding and was a very worthy winner. Ray was delighted to receive his award of £50 art vouchers.

Summer Exhibtion sales

Despite the weather , the Society were delighted to sell just under 70 artworks over the fortnight , with 36 artists receiving sales.

The final exhibition  of 2025 will be at St Edmundsbury Cathedral from Friday 24th October – Saturday 1st November.
